Norah Jones est une chanteuse, musicienne et actrice américaine née le 30 mars 1979 à New York sous le nom de Geetali Norah Jones-Shankar (elle change officiellement son nom en Norah Jones à l’âge de 16 ans). Elle est l’une des filles du célèbre joueur de sitar indien Ravi Shankar, de la productrice américaine Sue Jones, et la demi-sœur de la joueuse de sitar Anoushka Shankar.
