Biographie de : 

Tom McClung (né en 1957 à New York, dans l'État de New York), est un pianiste et compositeur américain de jazz. On lui doit de nombreux albums, soit comme leader, soit comme accompagnateur. Il a joué avec de grands musiciens au nombre desquels Archie Shepp, Yusef Lateef et Marion Brown.

Depuis 1996, il est le pianiste d'Archie Shepp avec qu'il joue dans les festivals internationaux. Dans le disque Gemini (Archieball, 2007), il y a deux compositions de Tom McClung, Burning Bright et La Manzana.
