Rafael van der Vaart (né le 11 février 1983 à Heemskerk) est un footballeur international néerlandais qui évolue au poste de milieu de terrain au Hambourg SV.

Il rejoint l'Ajax Amsterdam dès ses 10 ans et impressionne déjà les entraineurs en catégorie jeunes. Son pied gauche d'une précision diabolique, sa technique, sa vista ainsi que son volume de jeu impressionnant en font un futur grand en puissance.
