Michael Shawn Hickenbottom (né le 22 juillet 1965 à Chandler dans l'Arizona) mieux connu sous le nom de Shawn Michaels, est un catcheur (lutteur professionnel) américain. Il est employé par la World Wrestling Entertainment et lutte dans la division RAW. C'est l'un des catcheurs les plus adulés et les plus populaires.

Shawn Michaels fut entraîné par José Lothario ; c'est Lothario qui fit la suggestion à Hickenbottom de catcher sous le nom de Michaels.

Avant de rejoindre la WWE, Michaels a lutté pour la Mid-South Wrestling et pour la American Wrestling Association (AWA).
