Little Richard, de son vrai nom Richard Wayne Penniman, est un chanteur, pianiste, guitariste et compositeur américain, né le 5 décembre 1932. Il a été un pionnier du rock and roll de la fin des années cinquante.

Avec Chuck Berry, Fats Domino et Bo Diddley, il fut l’un des premiers musiciens noirs de Rock and Roll à connaître les faveurs du public blanc.
