Albert Bouvet est un coureur cycliste français, pistard et routier, né le 28 février 1930 à Mellé en Ille-et-Vilaine (Bretagne) et mort le 20 mai 2017 (à 87 ans) dans l'Essonne. Surnommé «le Bouledogue de Fougères», il est connu pour avoir été à 2 reprises vice-champion du monde (1957 et 1959), avoir remporté le Paris-Tours (1956), l'organisateur du Tour de France (chef des services sportifs du Tour) et le découvreur des pavés de Paris-Roubaix (1968). Un de ses titres de gloire est une victoire dans Paris-Tours en 1956. Il est resté quarante-deux ans le dernier Français vainqueur de l'épreu...
