Rachel Luttrell est née le 07 Mars 1973 à Lushoto en Tanzanie, d’où sa mère est originaire. Toutefois elle vit à Toronto (Canada) depuis qu’elle a cinq ans : elle a trois sœurs.

Elle a étudié le ballet à la Russian Academy Ballet School et la musique au Royal Conservatory of Canada (elle joue du piano et son père l’a formé au chant, elle est soprano). Elle est également très bonne danseuse.

Elle a débuté sa carrière par des productions canadiennes comme Miss Saigon et Beauty and the Beast. Au début des années 90, elle obtient un rôle récurrent dans la série de nouveau canadienne Street L...
