Christopher Nolan, né Christopher Jonathan James Nolan le 30 juillet 1970 à Londres en Angleterre, est un réalisateur, producteur et scénariste britannique.

Il s'est fait connaître à la fin des années 1990 grâce à son premier long métrage Following, tourné en noir et blanc. Par la suite, il a beaucoup de succès avec les films Memento, Insomnia, Batman Begins (premier épisode de la nouvelle saga Batman), et ses suites The Dark Knight : Le Chevalier noir et The Dark Knight Rises, Le Prestige et Inception.
