André Greipel, né le 16 juillet 1982 à Rostock, est un coureur cycliste allemand évoluant au sein de l'équipe Lotto-Belisol. Reconnu pour ses qualités de sprinteur, il se révèle en 2008 en remportant le Tour Down Under et une étape du Tour d'Italie. Il vit à Kritzmow en Allemagne.

Originaire de Rostock comme Jan Ullrich, Greipel, double Champion d'Allemagne juniors, est formé à la Jan Ullrich Nachwuchsteam, la structure mise en place par le champion allemand pour former les jeunes coureurs de sa région, par son ancien entraîneur Peter Sager. En 2002, il rejoint l'équipe TEAG Team Köstritzer...
