Il était mieux connu sous le pseudonyme Test, qu'il a utilisé durant sa carrière à la World Wrestling Entertainment. Il est mort le 13 mars 2009 dans son appartement de Tampa en Floride, 4 jours avant son anniversaire et 5 jours avant la tournée American Wrestling Rampage à Paris dans laquelle il devait participer.
