Alan Wilson, né le 4 juillet 1943 à Boston, Massachusetts, et mort le 3 septembre 1970 en Californie, est un musicien américain, cofondateur du groupe Canned Heat. Il était surnommé « the Blind Owl » (« la chouette aveugle ») en raison de sa mauvaise vue. Diplômé en musique, Alan Wilson est un excellent harmoniciste et solide guitariste. Il a accompagné le vétéran bluesman, Son House, sur son album Father of the Blues. Il interprète quelques-uns des grands tubes de Canned Heat comme On the Road Again ou Going Up the Country. Sa voix timide et étouffée apporte au groupe un style inimitable. ...
