Stanley (Stan) Roger Smith, né le 14 décembre 1946 à Pasadena, est un ancien joueur de tennis professionnel américain, devenu entraîneur.

Il fut l'un des cinq meilleurs joueurs du monde dans la première moitié des années 1970. Numéro 1 mondial de 1972 à mi-1973, vainqueur de deux tournois du Grand Chelem en simple (US Open 1971 et Wimbledon 1972) et du premier Masters joué en 1970 à Tokyo, il fut aussi un grand joueur de coupe Davis, contribuant à sept reprises à la victoire de l'équipe des États-Unis dans l'épreuve, notamment lors de la mythique finale jouée (et gagnée à lui seul) contre l...
