Il est né le 26 juin 1980 dans le 14e arrondissement de Paris d'une mère française et d'un père kabyle. À partir de l'âge de 4 ans, il passe toute son enfance aux Ulis dans la banlieue parisienne.

En 1996, il forme le groupe L'Amalgame. Le collectif évolue, et devient Ul'Team Atom. En 2000, après de nombreuses mixtapes, il sort Malsain, son premier maxi, sur le label 3.5.7.
