Philip Jones Griffiths (18 février 1936 - 18 mars 2008) était un photographe gallois connu pour sa couverture de la guerre du Vietnam. Griffiths est né à Rhuddlan. Il a étudié la pharmacologie à Liverpool et a travaillé à Londres en tant que gestionnaire de la nuit à la branche de Picadilly "Boots The Chemist", tout en travaillant à temps partiel comme photographe photographe pour le "Manchester Guardian".
