Mobutu Sese Seko Kuku Ngbendu wa Za Banga (né le 14 octobre 1930 – décédé le 7 septembre 1997), né Joseph-Désiré Mobutu, a été le second président de la République démocratique du Congo de 1965 à 1997 (le pays ayant été rebaptisé Zaïre de 1971 à 1997). Il fut surnommé « Le Léopard de Kinshasa ». Joseph-Désiré Mobutu naît le 14 octobre 1930 à Lisala au Congo belge quelques mois après le roi des Belges, Baudouin.
