Doris Kappelhoff, connue sous le nom de scène de Doris Day, née le 3 avril 1924 à Cincinnati dans l'Ohio aux États-Unis, est une actrice, chanteuse et productrice américaine. Elle joua dans plus de 40 films avec la compagnie Warner Bros et enregistra plusieurs albums avec Columbia Records.

Doris Day se destinait à une carrière de danseuse à Hollywood avec son partenaire de danse Jerry Dougherty.
