Stiv Bators, né Steven John Bator, était un chanteur punk américain né le 22 octobre 1949 à Youngtown, Ohio, États-Unis et décédé le 3 juin 1990 à Paris. Bators fut le chanteur du groupe The Dead Boys de 1975 à 1979. Il a côtoyé durant cette période de nombreux artistes underground de la scène New-Yorkaise comme Joan Jett ou encore Johnny Thunders. Par la suite, il fonda The Wanderers en Angleterre, puis Lords of the New Church en compagnie d'anciens membres de Sham 69 et The Damned.
