Gérald Lavoie dit Daniel Lavoie (17 mars 1949 à Dunrea, Manitoba, Canada) est un auteur-compositeur-interprète et pianiste franco-manitobain (canadien). Il est notamment connu pour sa participation à la comédie musicale Notre-Dame de Paris en 1998 et pour le titre Ils s'aiment, datant de 1984.

Daniel Lavoie est né en Dunrea (Manitoba), dans une communauté francophone au milieu de la province anglophone. Il est bilingue. Sa mère adore la musique et Daniel apprend à jouer du piano depuis l'âge de 4 ans. Il a fait ses études au Collège de Saint-Boniface (Saint-Boniface (Manitoba)).
