Russell Crowe est un acteur australo-néo-zélandais né le 7 avril 1964 à Wellington, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Après avoir débuté sa carrière en Australie, il la poursuit à Hollywood avec L.A. Confidential et Révélations, avant de devenir mondialement célèbre avec Gladiator (pour lequel il a gagné l'Oscar du meilleur acteur) et Un homme d'exception.

Russell Crowe est né à Wellington, en Nouvelle-Zélande. Il a 4 ans lorsque sa famille emménage en Australie. Il devient rapidement une star de la télévision australienne grâce à la série Spyforce (1971-1973).
