Sandra Bullock est née à Arlington, Etat de Virginie, le 26 juillet 1966. Très jeune, elle apprend à faire et défaire ses valises puisque sa mère, une cantatrice allemande, déménage beaucoup. La petite Sandra part ainsi pour Nuremberg, en Allemagne, où elle restera jusqu'à l'âge de 10 ans. Elle suivra sa maman jusque sur les planches pour des petits rôles de gitanes, en fond de scène, ou comme choriste avec sa sœur. Puis c'est le retour aux Etats-Unis où elle décide rapidement de devenir actrice.
