Robert Pirès, né le 29 octobre 1973 à Reims, est un footballeur international français qui évolue au poste de milieu offensif.

Il est connu pour avoir fait partie de l'équipe de France victorieuse de la Coupe du monde 1998 et du championnat d'Europe 2000.

Robert Pirès est né d'un père portugais Antonio employé d'une usine Valeo et d'une mère espagnole Maribel, femme de ménage.

Il débute le football à 7 ans, à l'École de Football Reims Sainte-Anne Châtillons dans un stade qui porte désormais son nom. En 1983, il est champion de France de poussins avec son club qui bat le Sporting Club Gérard Houllier...
