Lionel Horter, né le 25 juillet 1965 à Mulhouse, est un ancien nageur français, spécialiste du papillon, reconverti dans l'entraînement.

Officiant actuellement au club du Mulhouse Olympic Natation, un des « pôles France » de la natation, il entraîne notamment Amaury Leveaux, Aurore Mongel ou Sébastien Rouault, multiples médaillés dans les rendez-vous internationaux. En 2008, il fut brièvement l'entraîneur de Laure Manaudou lorsqu'elle posa ses valises à Mulhouse. Auparavant, il entraîna notamment Roxana Maracineanu, vice-championne olympique en 2000.
