Kōji Arekusandā Murofushi, né le 8 octobre 1974 à Numazu, est un athlète japonais, spécialiste du lancer du marteau. Il mesure 1,87 m pour 97 kg.

Il a obtenu une thèse de doctorat (PhD) sur la biomécanique du lancer du marteau. Vainqueur du lancer de marteau aux Jeux olympiques d'Athènes (après disqualification pour dopage du premier lanceur, le Hongrois Adrián Annus) avec un lancer à 82,91 mètres, il remporte la médaille de bronze aux Jeux olympiques d'été de 2008 à Pékin, après la disqualification pour dopage des deux lanceurs biélorusses classés devant lui.
