Geri Halliwell est une chanteuse britannique, ancienne membre des Spice Girls. Elle est née le 6 août 1972 à Watford, dans la banlieue de Londres. Geri répond, en mars 1994, à une annonce qui recrute des jeunes chanteuses pour former un groupe de filles. Ainsi commence pour Ginger Spice (la rousse) l'aventure des Spice Girls. Avec ce groupe féminin, geri Halliwell enregistre notamment Wannabe, Say you'll be there et 2 become 1 et jouera dans le film Spiceworld en 1997, elle annonce à la presse qu'elle quitte le groupe, en 1998 pour entamer une carrière solo.
