Georges Dargaud (né le 27 avril 1911 à Paris - décédé le 18 juillet 1990 à Paris) était un éditeur français de bandes dessinées. Après de menus travaux dans la presse et la publicité, Georges Dargaud crée en 1943 les Éditions Dargaud, et en 1949 devient l'éditeur français du Journal de Tintin. Il publiera Tintin pendant vingt-sept ans. En 1959, il publie le journal Pilote. Avec Dupuis, Dargaud devient la maison d'édition qui introduit la bande dessinée en France : Astérix, Lucky Luke, Achille Talon, etc. Il édite encore Moebius et Jean-Michel Charlier (Blueberry), Pierre Christin et Jean-Cl...
