Francis Simard, né en 1947 à Val-Paradis (Québec) et mort le 10 janvier 2015, est un ancien militant du Front de libération du Québec. Il milite dans le Rassemblement pour l'indépendance nationale et le Parti québécois avant de s'impliquer dans le Front de libération du Québec. Il fit partie de la cellule de financement Chénier du FLQ qui enleva, séquestra et assassina le ministre Pierre Laporte lors de la Crise d'octobre 1970. Condamné à la prison à vie en 1971, pour son implication dans l'homicide du ministre Laporte, il est libéré sous condition en 1982. Il a relaté les événements d'o...
