Bachir Gemayel (arabe : بشير الجميل), une personnalité politique libanaise de la famille Gemayel, né le 10 novembre 1947 et mort assassiné le 14 septembre 1982. Bachir Gemayel naît dans une importante famille maronite. Il fonda la milice des Forces libanaises en 1976, regroupant presque toutes les milices chrétiennes de Beyrouth-Est et du mont Liban au moment des massacres des populations chrétiennes dans des villages du sud-liban (Damour, Jieh...).

Il prend alors la tête de la milice chrétienne et s’impose par la force comme chef ...
