Alassane Dramane Ouattara, surnommé ADO, est un homme politique de Côte d'Ivoire, né le 1er janvier 1942 à Dimbokro, près de la capitale Yamoussoukro ou à Kong (nord du pays).

Après un doctorat en économie aux États-Unis, au Drexel Institut of Technology et à l'université de Pennsylvanie, il devient économiste au FMI puis occupe différents postes à la Banque centrale des États de l'Afrique de l'Ouest (BCEAO) dont celui de gouverneur. En 1990, il est appelé pour résoudre la crise économique qui frappe la Côte d'Ivoire en tant que président du comité interministériel, puis en tant que premier...
