William Abitbol est un homme politique français né le 6 septembre 1949 à Paris et mort le 22 décembre 2016. Il est connu pour avoir importé le terme "souverainisme" du Québec et l'avait adapté à la situation française. Né d’un père juif tunisien et d’une mère catholique croate, William Abitbol passe son baccalauréat au lycée français de Bruxelles.
