Maurice Félix Charles Allais, né à Paris le 31 mai 1911 et mort le 9 octobre 2010 à Saint-Cloud Gérard Debreu, est un économiste français proche de l'école néoclassique. Il est surtout connu pour ses contributions de pionnier à la théorie des marchés efficients dans l'utilisation des ressources pour lesquels il a reçu de nombreuses distinctions, dont le « prix Nobel d'économie » en 1988. Il est le seul citoyen français à avoir reçu cette distinction. En 1947, il participe avec les libéraux Friedrich Hayek, Ludwig von Mises et Milton Friedman à la création de la Société du Mont Pèlerin, prônant une lutte...
