Kristen Anne Bell est une actrice américaine née à Detroit dans le Michigan (États-Unis), le 18 juillet 1980.

Américaine d'origine Polonaise, Kristen Bell est végétarienne. Elle a grandi dans la banlieue de Huntington Woods, a poursuivi son cursus scolaire dans le lycée catholique de la ville voisine de Royal Oak, où elle a tenu le premier rôle (Dorothy Gale) de la comédie musicale Le magicien d'Oz. Elle passe son premier casting à l'âge de onze ans.
