John McMartin est un acteur américain, né le 19 novembre 1929 à Warsaw (Indiana) et mort le 6 juillet 2016 à New York. Très actif au théâtre, John McMartin débute Off-Broadway dans la comédie musicale Little Mary Sunshine (en) (musique, lyrics et livret de Rick Besoyan), avec Eileen Brennan dans le rôle-titre, représentée 1 143 fois de novembre 1959 à septembre 1962. Son rôle du caporal Jester lui permet de gagner en 1960 un Theatre World Award.
