Ike Wister Turner (né le 5 novembre 1931 à Clarksdale, Mississippi, mort le 12 décembre 2007 à San Marcos, Californie) était un chanteur et guitariste de blues, de rhythm and blues et de rock. À la fin des années 1940, il fonde les Kings of Rhythm. Son premier enregistrement reconnu est Rocket 88, chanté par le saxophoniste Jackie Brenston en 1951 avec les Kings of Rhythm, enregistré dans les studios Sun Records.
