Biographie de : 

Hailé Sélassié Ier, (né Täfäri Mäkwännen le 23 juillet 1892 à Ejersa Goro en Éthiopie et décédé le 27 août 1975 à Addis-Abeba, Éthiopie), fut le dernier empereur d'Éthiopie de 1930 à 1936 et de 1941 à 1974. Il est considéré par la plupart des Rastas comme étant le « dirigeant légal de la Terre » (Earth's rightful ruler) et de surcroît le Messie, en raison de son ascendance qui, selon la tradition chrétienne orthodoxe éthiopienne, remonterait jusqu'aux rois Salomon et David. Hailé Sélassié est né dans un petit village de Ejersa Goro en Éthiopie (province de Harrar) sous le nom de Täfäri Mäko...
