Biographie de : 

Gaston Defferre, né à Marsillargues (Hérault) le 14 septembre 1910 et mort à Marseille le 7 mai 1986 est un homme politique français. Après des études de droit, il devient avocat au barreau de Marseille en 1931 et militant socialiste. En 1940, il est un des premiers résistants socialistes, au sein du réseau Brutus-Boyer, sous le pseudonyme de lieutenant-colonel Danver. Il rejoint la clandestinité lorsque les Allemands envahissent la zone libre le 12 Novembre 1942.
