Daniel Prévost est un comédien et humoriste français, né le 20 octobre 1939 à Garches (Seine-et-Oise, aujourd'hui Hauts-de-Seine).

Né d'un père algérien originaire de Kabylie (Tizi Ouzou), Daniel Prévost ne l'apprend que bien plus tard, sa mère lui ayant caché l'origine de son père. Il se rendra dans les années 1990 dans son village d'origine où il retrouvera la famille de son père1. Il est le père de Sören Prévost, d'Erling Prévost et de Christophe Prévost qui sont également comédiens.
