Virginie Efira est une animatrice de télévision et comédienne belge née le 5 mai 1977 à Bruxelles.

Embauchée par Club RTL, chaîne du groupe belge TVi SA (RTL Group), pour la présentation de l'émission pour jeune Mégamix (devenue par la suite Fan Club). En 1998, Virginie présente ensuite la quotidienne belge d'À la recherche de la nouvelle Star juste avant celle de Benjamin. En septembre 2002, RTL-TVi lui propose l'animation des quotidiennes et des prime times (avec Frédéric Herbays) de la Star Academy, made in Belgium.
