Anthony Kiedis est un chanteur américain né le 1er novembre 1962, à Grand Rapids, dans le Michigan. Il est connu en tant que chanteur principal du groupe de rock Red Hot Chili Peppers, qu'il a fondé en 1983 avec le bassiste Michael Balzary.

Les parents d'Anthony, John Kiedis (alias Spider, et aujourd'hui Blackie Dammet) et Margaret Idema (alias Peggy) divorcent en 1968. Anthony vit avec sa mère dans le Michigan jusqu'à l'âge de 11 ans, puis en Californie avec son père, acteur à Los Angeles. Il a deux demi-sœurs, Julie et Jenny, et un demi-frère, James.
