Annibale Carracci, en français Annibal Carrache, né à Bologne (Émilie-Romagne) en 1560 et mort à Rome en 1609, est un peintre italien. Considéré dès le XVIIe siècle comme opposé au Caravage, il utilisa en effet un style différent pour, comme lui, mettre en application le Concile de Trente. Travaillant en général avec son frère Agostino et son cousin Lodovico, il connut de son vivant une grande renommée, et donna naissance à une nouvelle conception de la peinture, faisant définitivement basculer cet art du maniérisme au XVIIe siècle.
